An Arrest Is Not a Conviction
An arrest or booking does not establish guilt. Prosecutors may decline a charge, and a court may dismiss, reduce, amend, or resolve it without a conviction. Later expunction or restriction can also make an older copy misleading. Confirm the disposition through the Clerk of Superior Court and, for a person's own statewide fingerprint history, the North Carolina SBI.
A search result is a lead, not a verdict. The office that originated or maintains the record must confirm its current content and public status.

No content here is an official record. Court dates and case outcomes belong with the Pitt County Clerk, sheriff and booking data with the Pitt County Sheriff's Office, repository history with the North Carolina SBI, and registration details with the North Carolina Sex Offender Registry and sheriff. Certified or official copies come only from the proper custodian.
